This pre-contractual information is provided before you place your order, in line with the consumer-protection requirements of the European Union, the United States, and Türkiye. Where mandatory local law grants you greater rights, those rights prevail.

2. Product Information, Price & Currency


The essential characteristics of each item, its sale price, and payment details are shown on the product page and the order-summary screen before you confirm your order. Our artworks are handmade to order using 100% cotton cord and varnished solid spruce wood.


Prices are displayed in your selected currency (USD, EUR, or GBP), with USD as the base currency. For orders to the USA, delivery is DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — import duties are included, with nothing extra to pay on arrival. For customers in Türkiye, prices are shown in Turkish Lira (TRY) and include VAT (KDV).

3. Payment Methods & Security


Payments are processed securely through the PayTR infrastructure. We accept Visa and Mastercard. International bank transfer (SWIFT) is also available — please contact us for our banking details. All transactions are protected by 3D Secure and 256-bit SSL encryption, and your card details are never stored on our servers.


For customers in Türkiye, credit and debit cards, installment options, and bank transfer (Havale/EFT) are also available.

4. Delivery


Each piece is made to order; production takes 7–10 business days. We offer free worldwide shipping via express couriers such as FedEx, DHL, and UPS. For orders to the USA, delivery is DDP (duties included). For customers in Türkiye, delivery is typically completed within 1–4 business days after dispatch.
Delivery times are estimates. justhang is not responsible for delays arising from force majeure or from the courier; you will be informed of any expected delay.

5. Right of Withdrawal & Returns


For non-custom items, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the day you (or a third party you nominate) receive the goods, without giving any reason and without penalty. To exercise this right, notify us by a clear written statement (email, phone, or post) within the 14-day period. The item must be returned unused, undamaged, and resaleable, together with the invoice. A model withdrawal form is available on our Returns & Refunds page.


Return shipping — general rule (US & EU customers): For change-of-mind returns, return shipping and any customs/import charges on the return are paid by the buyer.

Return shipping — customers in Türkiye: For the right of withdrawal (cayma hakkı), justhang covers the return shipping cost; you are not charged return shipping when you use the carrier we designate, and if no carrier is designated or it does not serve your area, we arrange and pay for the return.


Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days. We may withhold the refund until the goods are received or proof of return is supplied. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items are always returned at our cost (repair, replacement, or refund as required by law).


Legal basis — EU: CRD Art. 9 (14-day withdrawal), Art. 13 (refund), Art. 14(1) (return cost where disclosed). Türkiye: Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 9, 12 — as amended 24.05.2025, in force 01.01.2026, the consumer is not charged return shipping for the right of withdrawal (former Art. 13/3 repealed). US: contractual policy disclosed per FTC.



6. Products Excluded from the Right of Withdrawal


Pieces made to your specifications — for example, a custom size, a different color, or a special composition — are produced personally for you and are excluded from the right of withdrawal. This exclusion does not apply to faulty, damaged, or incorrect items.


Note: Standard collection pieces (Balance, Flow, and Harmony), although made to order, have a standard design and therefore remain eligible for the right of withdrawal and return.

7. Complaints & Dispute Resolution


For customers in Türkiye: you may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) or, subject to the mandatory mediation requirement, to the Consumer Courts, based on the monetary thresholds announced each year by the Ministry of Trade. justhang's records constitute valid evidence in any dispute arising from this contract.
For customers in the European Union: you may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform. For all other customers, the governing law and competent forum are as stated in our Terms of Sale.


Legal basis — EU: Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 (ODR) and ADR Directive 2013/11/EU. Türkiye: Law No. 6502 Art. 68 and Art. 73/A (mandatory mediation). US: governing-law / forum clause in the Terms of Sale.



8. Buyer's Acknowledgment


By placing an order, the buyer confirms having read and understood this pre-contractual information regarding the essential characteristics of the goods, the total price, the payment method, and delivery, and gives the consent required to enter into the distance contract electronically.
